Trends in trade fair stand design

The latest trends in exhibition stands focus mainly on sustainability and interaction with users, seeking to create memorable experiences for the public. However, there are other aspects to consider:

Interactive technology:

Cutting-edge technologies not only make the exhibition stand visually striking from the rest, but also provide immersive experiences that connect with the public on a deeper level. Screens where the public can interact thanks to “computer vision,” or technologies such as augmented reality, holography, or dynamic lighting, which create striking environments and contribute to the brand’s narrative, connect with visitors in innovative ways and generate memorable experiences.

Araven exhibition stand, featuring a three-dimensional hologram projected onto a glass screen that appears to float in the air, offering an immersive and innovative visual experience developed by our New Technologies department.

Sustainability:

Caring for the environment has become a crucial aspect in all industries. It is not enough to use recyclable and environmentally friendly materials; now, it is necessary to demonstrate this commitment.

The new generations of digital natives who are entering the labor market and represent an increasingly significant segment for retail brands demand transparency about the origin and process of each product before deciding to purchase it.

It is no coincidence that major brands such as Inditex and H&M include sustainability sections on their websites and tell the story of each garment, from the raw materials used to make them to the place of manufacture and the process of transporting them to the store.

The portable stand for the Panot electric bicycle brand is designed with high-quality tarpaulins printed with environmentally friendly water-based inks.

Modularity:

This concept ties in with the philosophy of the circular economy, where the ability to create modular stands that adapt to different environments or formats allows their elements to be reused and utilized for different spaces, without the need to reinvest in the creation of a new exhibition stand.

Interchangeable designs

The fact that each module can be customized, maintaining its basic structure but changing the design of the canvases that hold it in place depending on the event where it is installed, allows for great flexibility and adaptability for each occasion. In addition, it is essential that the fastening system allows the canvas to be changed easily, using magnets or Velcro, without the need for specialized tools.

Modular exhibition stand for the hydraulic systems brand Hine, installed in two different exhibition spaces, in 2020 and 2024, where the supports remain the same and the design of some of the canvases has been updated.

Digital environment:

The younger generations, accustomed to rapid consumption of online content, seek dynamic and engaging experiences at exhibition stands that allow them to connect with brand values. Furthermore, if the stand has a personalized and original space, the public will contribute to its promotion by sharing their experience on social media.

For the Ntucity food platform, we designed a stand with an interactive space developed by our New Technologies department, where the public enjoyed an immersive experience by taking photos in a digital photocall and sharing them on their social media.

At Nabegos, we have 45 years of experience in the design, manufacture, and installation of stands. In addition, we have our own New Technologies department and a research laboratory, where we develop technological activations using computer vision, augmented reality, holography, and video mapping. We integrate these innovations into the stands to create unique experiences for the public.

Our stands are modular, scalable, reusable, customizable, high quality, with integrated technology, and adaptable to all budgets, depending on the level of technology and standard you want to achieve.
